  • Daniel Leone is a Canberra based, multi-disciplinary artist. He creates surreal ceramics that are used as vessels to house a range of plants including bonsai, satiating his other passion, horticulture. With a personal collection of dozens of bonsai trees, Daniel possesses extensive knowledge of their creation and care. His dedication to bonsai is further evidenced by his role in designing and maintaining the Japanese garden at Koto Restaurant near Old Parliament House.

Daniel’s work also features in the Festival’s Speculative Materialism exhibition and showing in the Craft + Design Canberra Gallery from 1 November – 14 December.
