Open Studio | Robert Schwartz and Rose-Mary Faulkner | Glass

  • Schwartz Glass and Rose-Mary Faulkner 34 Cassidy Street Queanbeyan West, NSW, 2620 Australia (map)

Rob and Rose-Mary are glass artists collectively covering hot shop, kiln forming, print media and neon bending, and have recently developed their home studio in Queanbeyan – a space for kiln forming, craftsmanship, idea development and creative prototyping.

The studio is a space where their ideas converge, and where they can collaboratively and independently think and creatively develop their practices and work. The studio has four kilns and different workspaces. This is the first Open Studio event in this new space. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase hand blown and kiln formed glassware, as well as view a display of their exhibition and neon works, and delve into the process and technical development of their work through examples and prototypes. Refreshments will be provided in their garden.
